Thin coarse beige head. Cloudy to muddy orange grey body. Weak, medium sweet wheat aroma. Notes of fruity acidity. Mild semi-dry flavors of malt/wheat. Thin body. Dry rather unfresh mouthfeel. Short dry wheaty, chemical finish. (Sampled on the bus on its way to RBNAG’07, thanks to grove)

Jun 28, 2009 Botella. Aroma of wheat, yeast and mild citrus. Big white creamy well lasting head. Ok mouthfeel. Flavour has wheat, some yeast, mild citrus, some banana and little frutiness. I do prefer a non/watred down version but this one is refreshing.

May 3, 2009 Had the bottle that says König Ludwig Weissbier Leicht. Decent wheat. Pours hazy orange/yellow with thick white head. Notes of citrus and yeast on the nose. Tastes similar and highly carbonated. Not the best but easy to drink.

Jan 24, 2009 A hefe with a rapidly vanishing head? Aroma of yeasty, bready banana. Tastes... well, pretty much like a Hefe Light. Thinner on the palate than your average proper hefe but not drastically so. Slight banana and white bread on the flavour along with a touch of citrus. Nothing exciting but hardly bad either.

Jan 3, 2009 Bottle 50 cl. Comes as "König Ludwig Weissbier Leicht". Very hazy golden with a tall, dense, off-white head leaving laces. Aroma of yeast and banana. Light-bodied with banana and yeast accents and a whiff of citrus. Finishes dry. Fairly decent for a light Hefe. 131108

Dec 25, 2008 Bottled. An unclear golden beer with a thick off-white head. The aroma is sweet wheaty with lighter notes of citrus and cardboard. The flavor is sweet wheaty with light notes of cardboard, leading to a dry wheaty finish. The body is no wonder thin.

Nov 29, 2008 (Bottle, as König Ludwig Weissbier Leicht) Pale yellow colour with firm, frothy, white head. Rather cloudy. Malty nose with banana, wheat-flour dough, hints of lemon and spices. Malty, wheaty taste with notes of banana, pears and white bread, hints of lemon and traces of spices (coriander?). Fairly thin body and rather sweet. Decent for its strenght.

Nov 28, 2008 50 cL bottle as König Ludwig Weissbier Leicht. Pours hazy yellow with a diminished white head. Dry wheaty aroma with a mild estery note. Light estery fruity and bubblegum flavoured on the back of the tongue. Holds a mild wheaty smoothness and light acidic touch.
