faroeviking (5431), The Autonomous Beer Republic, Faroe Islands Jun 28, 2009 Botella. Aroma of wheat, yeast and mild citrus. Big white creamy well lasting head. Ok mouthfeel. Flavour has wheat, some yeast, mild citrus, some banana and little frutiness. I do prefer a non/watred down version but this one is refreshing. thejon375 (363), Tampa, Florida, USA May 3, 2009 Had the bottle that says König Ludwig Weissbier Leicht. Decent wheat. Pours hazy orange/yellow with thick white head. Notes of citrus and yeast on the nose. Tastes similar and highly carbonated. Not the best but easy to drink. Kalli (457), Falun, Sweden Jan 24, 2009 A hefe with a rapidly vanishing head? Aroma of yeasty, bready banana. Tastes... well, pretty much like a Hefe Light. Thinner on the palate than your average proper hefe but not drastically so. Slight banana and white bread on the flavour along with a touch of citrus. Nothing exciting but hardly bad either. Papsoe (12906), Frederiksberg, Denmark Jan 3, 2009 Bottle 50 cl. Comes as "König Ludwig Weissbier Leicht". Very hazy golden with a tall, dense, off-white head leaving laces. Aroma of yeast and banana. Light-bodied with banana and yeast accents and a whiff of citrus. Finishes dry. Fairly decent for a light Hefe. 131108 Ungstrup (13383), Frederiksberg, Denmark Dec 25, 2008 Bottled. An unclear golden beer with a thick off-white head. The aroma is sweet wheaty with lighter notes of citrus and cardboard. The flavor is sweet wheaty with light notes of cardboard, leading to a dry wheaty finish. The body is no wonder thin. KimJohansen (5662), Copenhagen V, Denmark Dec 25, 2008 Hazy yellow with medium white head. Malty aroma with yeast and wheat notes. Sweet malty flavour with hints of caramel and grainy notes.
