On tap at the brick house. Medium brown pour. Maple sugar, caramel, cinammon and Allspice in the aroma. Spices work well with the malt base, not overstated. Mild hop bitterness in finish. Surprisingly decent.

UPDATED: OCT 24, 2014 Sample at GABF 10/03/2014, thanks to my sis for assistance with note-taking. Hazy brown-amber color with a medium thick off-white head that recedes steadily. Strings of lacing. Aroma of spices and malt. Medium body with flavors of ginger, cinnamon and malt. The finish is sweet with a cinnamon and malt aftertaste. Decent overall.

Quite a lot of sour cherry here. Some sense of nutmeg and other spices. Sour tart finish. Acidic and lively carbonation. Tap at Eulogy.

Bottle into a tulip glass. Pour is a dirt brown with a thick head. Aroma is a mix spice and malt. Taste is sweet spice. Finish is crisp.

boxofrane (2170) - Spring City, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 7, 2013
UPDATED: DEC 8, 2013 Draft at beer fest. Pours hazy reddish brown with minimal head. The aroma is nutty and light astringency. The taste is sweet apple with a dry hoppy finish. I don’t pick up much of a maple sweetness but maybe I’m getting the apple from that ingredient.

pineypower (2523) - Pine Barrens, New Jersey, USA - NOV 18, 2013
Pours out a brownish-reddish color with a creamy head. Aroma is of caramel, sweet sugary notes, light spices. Taste is complex, caramel malty notes, lots of cookie-like spices, cinnamon, maple syrup and a light bitterness on the finish.

I didn't care for the spices in this red. Maybe because I was expecting a red a got something else skewed the rating but I poured this one out. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Red color. No foam action. Hops, spice, caramel and some sweetness. Medium body, great texture for a spice.

UPDATED: MAY 4, 2013 Enjoyed on tap at Prism Brewery with what they call the "rim job," a cinnamon sugar coating around the rim of the glass that pairs incredibly with the beer. That being said, I also enjoyed this in a regular flight glass and the beer was stellar on its own. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
