3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
330ml brown bottle. Pours out deep golden-light orange shade with a bit of haze. 2 fingers of tan head on top, nice rings of lacing left in the glass. Sweet nose, lots of malt, caramel. Taste has sweet malts, light bready notes, biscuity malts, caramel, very light hopping come in at the end adding a slight grassy note. Light bodied, light carbonation, mellow mouthfeel. Overall, too sweet and/or underhopped. This more like like Rickard’s Red than a vienna which is what I think they were aiming for.

2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle. Cloudy amber but more a swarm of minute yeast particles than cloud. Thin lasting foam maintained by steady stream of bubbles rising through the minutia. Strong wort and wood scent. Waves of unfermented sugars flow by with caramel and vanilla notes. Lots of malt but seems unfiinished and raw. Needs more hops or more finishing or (shudder) filtering?

Amber in colour, unfiltered - but pretty clear - with off white head. Refreshing, bready, malty notes. Some caramel flavours.
Aftertaste, lightly hoppy and malty - well balanced. Easy to drink very enjoyable, refreshing beer.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Poured a hazy light amber color with quickly diminishing white head and minimal lace. Aroma of caramel and floral hops. Taste is lightly sweet with a lingering hoppy finish. Light carbonation and medium body make this an easy drinking lager which is a small step up from the usual macros.
