Draught sample. Light orange with airy white cap. Aroma of weak caramel malt. Taste is similar, with straw. Low to medium dry. Meh.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
650ml brown bottle. Orange pour with average whit foam on top. Nose has caramel and some lemony hops. Taste has caramel malt, bit of toasty grain with light citrus hops. Bland finish, a touch grainy, mild caramel, but no hops. Light bodied, ok carbonation, a bit dry. Overall too plain and underhopped for my tastes.

To all those posting low scores. Don't drink this after having an ipa. This beer is balanced, correct for the style.

2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20
Reddish copper. Decent amount of head. Aroma is not promising - stale grains and leafy greens. Taste is malty, sugary sweet. Basically no hops. Sweet finish. Not to style. Flavor profile more like a mild...except it’s not a mild. One dimensional. Nothing really off, but really disappointing.

(650ml bottle) Purchased at Hillside Liquors. Pours a large frothy white head atop clear gold body. Nose of canned watercress. Terrible flavour. It’s been a long time since I’ve tasted something this bad.

Bottled sample. Malty tasting apa with a bit of a tinny taste. Ok tasting but wouldn't likely have it again

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Part of the @calgarycoop Discovery Pack for July. Was excited to see something named Prohibition Bootlegger in the discovery pack for July, from the Okanagan. Was put off by its classification on rb, and in our tasting notes that this was an APA. Prohibition and Bootlegging give me cause to expect a malt-forward, amber ale with a limited yet expected hope presence. Luckily the beer delivered what the classifiers didn’t. 650ml bottle, 5.5%, clear amber pour with a creamy whiteish head, mild spotty lacing. Aroma is caramel, cookie dough, hint of citrusy and earthy hops. Going to rate this as an amber ale - much more malt-forward in the palate, and deservedly so for a prohibition-style brew. Earthy, piney, citrusy hops temper the pleasant and bold malt character of this brew. Excellent stuff.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Boring bland APA with a hint of lemony hops and a mild skunky toasted malt. Just a boring beer with no hop oomph but a bit of tangy citrus fruits. That said this is a good effort for a new brewery, but theyll have to step this up
