COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Prohibition Lawless IPA ia an uncompromising, overly hopped, ale inspired by the 1920ís brews that sat in underground tunnels and rail-cars destined for dry countries. This IPA attacks your taste buds with a crisp and hoppy profile that was demanded in the blind pigs and speakeasies of days gone by. Prohibitionís complex, refreshing, honest flavors are craft brewed in small batches at a small unassuming brewery in British Columbia, Canada. Only the finest ingredients including pristine Canadian water and Cascade hops are used to deliver a beer so good youíd ask for it even if it was prohibited.

A pretty boring and below average ipa. Too bad it came in a bomber. Some hop aromas with a bit of sweetness. Flavours are bitter. Thatís it.. No real flavours to speak of.

Aroma is clove, honey, slight earthiness, citrus and sweet malts. Taste is roasty malts that are fairly well balanced with the hops with match the aromas in profile. Appearance is a clear orange with a medium pearl head that retains fairly well.

A darker gold colour, with a wispy head a good lacing. Taste is of citrus, floral hops and some malt. You get some metallic hints and a bitter finish. Itís ok, but not great.

Bottle. Gold in colour with medium carbonation. Aromas are of grainy pilsner-like malts, minerals, and a whiff of tangelo. More light malt and minerals in the mouth, along with mild stone fruit and dough. Slick bodied with only moderate bitterness. More like a strong lager than an IPA. Very odd.

Clear golden body white head, nice lacing. Biscuit and citrus in the aroma. Taste is slightly bitter, grainy, medicinal finish. Medium palate. Not bad.

Bottle. Clear golden pour with a small white head. Aroma is citrus, fairly sweet, not a lot going on. Flavour is surprisingly hoppy, citrus with a little tropical fruit and a slight metallic note. Finishes very bitter, almost medicinal like an aspirin on the tongue. Starts off okay, but finishes and lingers too bitter and unpleasant.

Great golden colour, with a nice thick head. The aroma is a little flat, but refreshing. The flavour is bitter with little else. The hops don't bring much in the way of flavour just an initial hit on the taste buds, then you are left with old beer.
