3.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20On tap @Proof Brewing Company, solid overall IPA, started real strong but about halfway through I felt the hops fell off and the flavor became a bit more bland as it started to warm (strange). From what I understand its a vast improvement over their early efforts at an IPA, and I think its a great session beer for the abv and style.

On draft at Proof. Pours a hazy copper with a white head. Nose is caramel, tangerine, big orange, big grapefruit, and all manner of loverly citrus. Flavor follows with a big burst of all things citrus. Outstanding IPA, but not too many before the alcohol kicks in...

Tallahassee, Fl - on tap at the brewpub. Dark copper, sparkling pour with a thick sticky white head that leaves plenty if sticky lacing. Fresh spruce-like aroma, traces of pineapple. Full-bodied flavor with plenty of nectar-like bittersweet grapefruit citrus notes. Some nectarines and pomegranates add to the fruity sweetness. Juicy syrup notes round out the back end. Mouthfeel is thick and succulent. Very solid IPA.

Can’t find my rating note for Version 1.0 to compare - so judging it on it’s own merit... Light copper pour with thin off-white and good retention. Aroma is resiny orange, pine and malts. Tastes are crisp bitter grapefruit and a strong toasty malt backbone. Finishes a light floral bitter. Very slight hint of the booze. Nice, clean and crisp.

Pours a slightly hazy golden brown on tap with a nice pillowy off-white head and great lacing on the way down. Aroma of citrus - grapefruit and orange, hops, slight malty backbone. Taste is sweet out of the gate, with a malty middle, and clean, sightly bitter finish. Great IPA overall. Leaps and bounds above the other two.
