Growler from Proof. Black pour with a thin tan ring. Aroma is roasty malts, light smoke and oat. Tastes are roasted malt, tinny bitter, coffee, baking chocolate. Oatmeal is in the periphery. Palate was slick thin to medium and little carbonation - though it wasn’t straight off the tap. Drinkable bitter stout overall.

Pours an opaque brownish black on tap with thin tan head and moderate lacing. Aromas of roasted malts, coffee, oatmeal, and slight bitter grain. Taste is super malty, with roasted and toasted oatmeal flavors up front, then a slightly bitter coffee and mocha finish. Great balance and the alcohol is well hidden, smooth on the mouth and easy to drink.
