COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Leuchtende orange-goldene Farbe, feinporiger Schaum.

Aroma: malty, honey, weak herbal notes. Appearance: slightly hazy amber color, thin white head. Taste: medium bitterness (herbs), honey, malty and sweet, intensive herbal notes. Palate: medium body and medium carbonation, astringent bitter finish. Overall: Quite strange IPA, it tastes like a cough syrup with bitterness combined with honey notes.

Leicht metallischer Geruch, sonst neutral. Nett restsüß. Leichte Aromen Richtung Citrus. Nur mittel bitter.

Tsekouratos (383) - Nea Filadelfeia, Athens, GREECE - JAN 7, 2015
330 ml bottle from Bier-Deluxe.de, Germany. Golden color, clear, white head. Aroma is earthy and slightly citrus hops, some caramel. Taste is sweet, with some grass and pine on the back. Sweet aftertaste, not long. Medium body with medium carbonation. Definitelly not an DIPA, not even an IPA, pretty mediocre as a beer.

Poured a light orange/amber with a frothy off white head. Aroma of moderately heavy tropical citrus and soft malt. Medium body, flavour is medium sweet, lightly bitter. Pretty average.

0,3 liter fles. @Home. Voor wat betreft het alcoholpercentage had ik geen double ipa verwacht. Maar een prima ipa.

bastarda (131) - Freiburg, GERMANY - NOV 25, 2014
decent nose: bitter orange marmelade stirred by a whiff of herb and pine, otherwise a dipa refusing kindly (i.e. not at all badly) to take off with the citrusy hops getting grounded by honey-malt clouds with an aspartame lining. A little hoppy move in the finish. If this is nothing but the truth I’m not quite sure I want to have it again.

Bottle by a friend. Aroma fruity hoppy, but also caramel malty, rather balanced. Clear golden colour. Taste fruity hoppy, light zesty. Moderate bitterness. Good, but could be overall more intense.

Theydon_Bois (10351) - The ’Sham, Surrey, ENGLAND - OCT 16, 2014
Bottle split at Mother Arch during my 40th bash, thanks to me Wingman - Dave, 11/10/14. Clear golden with moderate off white spotting and edgework. Nose is caramel malt, light pine, spice, dark fruit, trace of diacetyl, straw. Taste comprises dark fruit rinds, bready notes, astringent bitterness. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. So very so, like a mediocre ramped up golden blonde.

Bottle shared in London for Colin’s bonanza. Pours clear gold with a foamy white head. The nose has some lightly oxidised pale bread, citrus jam. Medium sweet flavor with bitter hay, marmalade, some grass, dry white bread. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Dry and somewhat astringent on the finish, more bitter grass, oxidised mals, dry bread, rind. Poor.

Bottle share for Colin’s 40th. Thanks to big dave. Aroma is stale grainy, cardboard, orange peel, stale. Flavour is orange, grainy cereal, tangy fruit. Clear light golden coloured pour no head. Palate is crisp, moderate carbonation. Lingering grass and orange. Double IPA? Wtf?
