0,3 liter fles. @Home. Voor wat betreft het alcoholpercentage had ik geen double ipa verwacht. Maar een prima ipa.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
decent nose: bitter orange marmelade stirred by a whiff of herb and pine, otherwise a dipa refusing kindly (i.e. not at all badly) to take off with the citrusy hops getting grounded by honey-malt clouds with an aspartame lining. A little hoppy move in the finish. If this is nothing but the truth I’m not quite sure I want to have it again.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle by a friend. Aroma fruity hoppy, but also caramel malty, rather balanced. Clear golden colour. Taste fruity hoppy, light zesty. Moderate bitterness. Good, but could be overall more intense.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle split at Mother Arch during my 40th bash, thanks to me Wingman - Dave, 11/10/14.
Clear golden with moderate off white spotting and edgework.
Nose is caramel malt, light pine, spice, dark fruit, trace of diacetyl, straw.
Taste comprises dark fruit rinds, bready notes, astringent bitterness.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close.
So very so, like a mediocre ramped up golden blonde.

The taste is biscuit, light bitterness, toasty grain, cereal, stone fruits, touch of spice and touch of honey with a dry finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Nothing much double IPA about it. Basic, but ok.
