2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 pushkinwow (1338) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - SEP 25, 2011
341ml bottle. Pale gold with a nice white head. Quite light - some banana, yeast, wheat and cloves. High carbonation, somewhat sweet but thin, finish is a bit bitter and dry, not much to it, leaves a grainy and hoppy taste on the palate. Have had better.

This poured a semi cloudy straw yellow with a white head. Aroma was light clove and spices, nothing outstanding, flavor was much the same, very bland, not much to talk about but hey its a beer.

I really like this one. Nice depth in the banana aroma. Has a bit of of spicy kick as well. Lots of good carbonation, feels almost creamy in the mouth. Could drink this all day and not get sick of it.

Cloudy yellow beer with a medium white head. Aroma is a nice Banana with some clove, wheat and a little spices. Beer is pretty carbonated and it actually works pretty well. A very nice blend and easily drinkable

Hazy honey gold, very brief white head. Spicy wheaty aroma, estery, hints of soft banana. Spicy and wheaty with more tart lemon nuances than banana. The pilsener was better.

341ml bottle. The carbonation on this beer is indeed high, but it is not artificial so it’s rather enjoyable and doesn’t effect the taste. Very smooth drinking, very sessionable. Bright cloudy yellow colour and plentiful head. Flavour and aroma are fruity and yeasty with a hint of spice.

Cloudy yellow beer with a thick white head. The aroma is quite light but has a nice banana and red apple sweetness along with a bit of soft sweetness. Low clove aroma and flavour but the wheatiness is quite apparent. A fairly nice fruitiness and a touch of honeyed sweetness. It’s a pretty decent pint. There is a nice lemony character on the back of the palate as well as a kiss of tartness.

On tap at Propeller in Halifax. Pours out a hazy straw color topped with a cream head. Aroma was of banana, spice, belg yeast, a little clove, and some wheat. Taste was much as the aroma with a good solid spice and malt back. One of my favorite from this visit.
2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Grwido (57) - Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, CANADA - JAN 8, 2011
From bottle. Golden beer with big white head that disappears quickly. Sour fruit, and yeast aromas. Fruit and yeast are predominate in the flavour as well.
3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Bendrixian (677) - Halifax, Nova Scotia, CANADA - NOV 10, 2010
pours bright with decent carbonation. In the nose it is cloves and has a touch of belgian yeasts. there are some tree fruit characters in there as well. Palate is slightly sour, some sweeter yeasty notes. It is a decent brew, i wish more breweries in Atlantic Canada would make this style of beer. Overall for its style it is not that expressive but still a decent brew.
