3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours amber with a frothy, light tan head. Aroma of pine, caramel, citrus rind, bubble gum. Taste is fairly malty up front with a lot of caramel, nicely balancing out a firm, clean hop finish. This is one of the best Canadian IPAs Iíve had!

It is a decent good beer but just didnít have that extra bit of taste I get from other IPAís. Little bit of a disappointment.

Well if this isnt all burnt sugar & bubblegum taste. Hops are bright -- & make lager boys blush from what I can see down the left side of the bar -- but without the punch that youíd want from your ipa. Reminds me of spearhead Moroccan brown -- which is odd -- but there it is.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle from LCBO. Hazy gold. Aroma: peach and pine. Taste: pine, fruits, medium-bitter finish. An relatively easy-drinking IPA, nothing wrong with it.

2.2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Weak grassy scent. Light golden pour with a bubbly head. Very easy to drink. Doesnít have that IPA bite. Neutral on this one. Iím guessing most pale ale fans wonít like this one much

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Slightly cloudy copper pour with tan head. Heavy nose of resinous hops and roasted malts, with some earthiness. Nice hop bitterness, again, lots of piney flavours, and well balanced subtle sweetness. Nice bitter finish.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Lots of flavour in this beer. Very sweet with lots of hops on the tongue. Smooth bitter aftertaste. Nice beer to try but very intense taste that could make you sick fast.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
11.5 oz bottle from the LCBO, served in a snifter. Pours clear amber with a moderate tan head that remains and leaves a small amount of fine lace. The nose has notes of pine and toasty malts along with resin and citrus. The flavour is moderately bitter throughout with notes from the nose along with subtle caramel toasty malt sweetness. The finish is moderate in length with a mild grassy hoppy bitterness. On the palate it is light-medium in body with a milky texture and soft carbonation. Overall this is a decent piney, resinous IPA in the English style. Subtle and tasty, very well brewed. 2013-03-11

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
341 ml bottle from LCBO, served cold in a tulip glass.
App.: Slightly hazy deep amber with a small off-white head.
Aroma: Lots of sticky caramel, some butterscotch, floral and resinous hops, lemony citrus, almost brothy, slightly peppery, a little dusty/musty, a bit fruity, a little too malt-forward for my tastes.
Palate: Medium+ body, moderately prickly effervescence.
Flav.: Some pine/resin hops, mild citrus zing, still plenty of caramel malt, a touch dank and a bit fruity, less broth/dust than the nose, alright; dry with pretty good bitterness and a fairly nice pine/resin/floral hop finish.
Not perfect for my palate, but pretty good.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours a clear copper with a small white head. Aroma is grapefruit, apricot and some citrus with the malt sweetness. Taste is a blast of grapefruit, tart citrus and apricot hop bitterness with small malt sweets. Interesting IPA. First one Iíve had that really leans towards the citrus and tartness
