Tiefschwarz.

Bottle from getranke Hoffman, Meppen. Brown to black, small off white head. Flat. Aroma has roasted malts, with some chocolate. Full bodied taste, nice, chcoc, mocha, dark fruits. Good balance, medium finish. Nice, not extreme imp. stout. A slight smokiness shows up. Hop bitterness in the finish. Nice!

330ml bottle thanks to McTapps. Pours black with medium tan head. Brilliantly balanced RIS, pretty much spot on with a good blend of chocolate & roasted malts, smooth and strong on the palette.

Aroma: roasted dark malts, roasted caramel, milk coffee, weak smoked notes. Appearance: deep dark color, thin beige head. Taste: low bitterness, roasted dark malts and roasted caramel, milk coffee, sweet, strange rum notes, cacao, smoked notes. Palate: full body and low carbonation, sweet roasted finish. Overall: In 100% it is not RIS, it is actually a sweet stout with high abv.

Bottle. Pours a dark brown black, with a wooden tinge. Good-sized, fairly thick, dark latte-colored head. Aroma is some smokiness in the beginning. A lot of dark, fruity maltiness later. Dark fruit, some toast, malt bread. Light liquorice and roast, light earthiness and raisin. Taste is very malty, some roast, some liquorice, lightly alcoholic. Dark fruit, very malt-forward. Dark malt, not roasted malt. Fairly medium with medium carbonation.
