Tiefschwarz.

Bottle 330 ml at home, many thanks to McTapps! Into a snifter, ABV 9.1% Pours totally black, with a small and persisting brown head. Small foam islands left on the surface, along with a thin line of lacing around the glass. Aroma of milky chocolate, soya sauce. Taste of roasted malts, chocolate, liquorice, finishes with fruity light hoppy notes. Mildly bitter aftertaste. Alcohol very well hidden. Medium to full body, nice carbonation. Overall a nice beer, very drinkable.

Bottle from McTapps, thanx. Pours all black with a big creamy tanned head. Aroma of roasted malts, chocolate and liquorice. Smooth creamy mouthfeel. Taste has a nice dark light salty liquorice melting well together with the dark malts, light roast, weak hot alcohol bite at finish. Nice one.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours dark in color with a tan head. Glue, roasted malts and salty licorice. Light roasted notes, medicinal herbs and licorice vinousness. Too one-dimensional to be that enjoyable.
