COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Tiefschwarz.

Bottle, 9.1%. The aroma seems a little fruity at first, but turns roasted. Black colour, seems unclear. Very small brown head. The flavour starts off sweetish and creamy, turns salty and quite roasted. The mouthfeel is a little thin for the style, but not a real problem. Reminds me of a Danish Baltic porter.

330ml bottle thanks to McTapps. Pours black with medium tan head. Brilliantly balanced RIS, pretty much spot on with a good blend of chocolate & roasted malts, smooth and strong on the palette.

Bottle aquired from McTapps at tderoeck's place. Pours gorgeous black with a brown big head that fades very quickly. Aroma is soy sauce, little cheap chocolate. Nice mocha, chocolate taste. Complemted by soy sauce. Not bad!

Bottle from European Local Swap. Many thanks Mctapps! Beautiful dark brown/black with a lot of dark brown foam. Very fruity nose (berries and dark fruit). Chocolate and roasted malts. Well balanced. Bit sweet, medium bitter. Very good!

peponi (548) - Krakow, POLAND - JAN 15, 2015
Aroma: roasted dark malts, roasted caramel, milk coffee, weak smoked notes. Appearance: deep dark color, thin beige head. Taste: low bitterness, roasted dark malts and roasted caramel, milk coffee, sweet, strange rum notes, cacao, smoked notes. Palate: full body and low carbonation, sweet roasted finish. Overall: In 100% it is not RIS, it is actually a sweet stout with high abv.

Bottle. Pours a dark brown black, with a wooden tinge. Good-sized, fairly thick, dark latte-colored head. Aroma is some smokiness in the beginning. A lot of dark, fruity maltiness later. Dark fruit, some toast, malt bread. Light liquorice and roast, light earthiness and raisin. Taste is very malty, some roast, some liquorice, lightly alcoholic. Dark fruit, very malt-forward. Dark malt, not roasted malt. Fairly medium with medium carbonation.

Bottle (trade with McTapps - thank you, Sabine); pours dark brown with a mocha colored head; aroma of roasted malt, coffee, chocolate, and licorice; taste is bittersweet chocolate, coffee, and roasted malt; has a light bitter finish; alcohol is hidden; good beer
