COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Tiefschwarz.

Licorice, rye, dry roastiness, decent amount of hops and, but not that bitter. A bit spiciness and some burn, alcohol is present, quite good but quite mellowed out aswell.

Angemessen bitter.

33cl bottle thanks to Beerhunter111. Dark color with nice brown head. Body is medium. Taste is medium bitter. Aroma is coffee, roasted, high high high hops, vanilla. The hops hide a little bit the rest of the aromas unfortunately.

330 ml. bottle. Thanks Henrik. Pours black with a nice tan head. Aroma of malt, chocolate, and fruit. Taste is roasted malt, chocolate, caramel, fruit, and a bit of coffee. Seemed a bit unbalanced. Nice.

Bottle at home. Black pour, thin tan head. Aroma of roasted malts, bready yeast, licorice, molasses, chocolate and some candi sugar. Flavor is quite sweet, roasted, spicy bitter and with a nice body. Decent enough imperial stout, well balanced and well drinkable.

Bottle. Pours in deep dark body with medium creamy tan head. Aroma has high grassy character, pine, light milk notes, roasty. Taste has medium roasty bitterness, with evident roasty after taste and light to medium creamy buttery sweetness. You’d probably spot some darker fruitiness, but quite masked by the roastiness. Still, some dried plums are there, mostly in the sweet after taste. Body is full, medium carbonation.

Bottle. It pours a next to black body under a small, dense, light tan head. Licorice, dark chocolate, molasses, toasted bread and some dried fruits in the aroma. A faint and pleasant hoppyness too. The flavor is pretty much the same, although a bit richer. Some faint alcohol notes. Chocolate, molasses and toasted bread. Prunes and a little mint touch too. Full body, sweetish and soft on the palate, with a lasting finish. Quite nice this one, sure worth a revisit. 140509
