Tiefschwarz.

Bottle. Quite fine and very big beige head. Beer colour is essentially black. Aroma is more hop-dominant than malt-based. Herbal, almost minty, hop character sits on red berry and toasted coffee malt underneath.Thick and slippery on the tongue, fruit is cut by a noticable bitterness and acidity in the finish.

Bottle, bbe 5/17. Black, brown head.Soft roasty, debittered coffee, blueberries plum sweetness on nose. Full bodied, but lean tecture. Dark fruity sweetness, bit cola- like, dark malty, dark syrup. Finishes clean though. Pretty easy for an imperial stout. Good for drinkability, but the flavours are a bit dull too. Generally just a bit unimpressive.

Pours a pitch black color, topped with a decently sized and lasting light brown head. Mild roasted aroma, some molasses, not much else to be picked up. Taste starts sharp, roasty with some coffee notes, followed by some very gentle chocolate notes. Alcohol is well hiden, making it easily drinkable. Not bad.
