Brewed in the classic lager style of Bohemia with a blend of European and Canadian malts and prized Saaz hops, Propeller Pilsener has a light sweet flavour with a firm hop finish. Drink fresh.

500ml bottle into pint glass. Pours a pale, clear yellow with a long-lasting head. Grassy nose with a hint of cloves and banana. A bit of wheat and a bit of sweet in the flavour. Light, perhaps too light.

Nice looking pilsener, rocky white head, bubbly nice yellow. Aroma is a combination of grass and pepper, then maybe a very mild banana underneath. Very bright tasting, maybe a little metallic though. Decent sweetness though as well, so that’s good. Palate is extremely drinkable and smooth, but a nice late aftertaste to it. Overall, a very light but still tasty beer.

Pours with a great deal of foam, which stays through the whole glass. Hints of orange, with strong peppery taste. A very long finish, that lingers for quite some time.

341ml bottle. Hazy light golden pour with a snow white head that lasts and leaves a good lace. Lots of cereal grain on the nose with a fresh lemon zest feel and a sweet orange hint. Clean on the palate with a big cereal grain punch and a little lemon on the finish. Easy, maybe a little too watery.

500 ml bottle from somewhere in NS, shared by Billy, served cold in a tulip glass. Happy Brew Years!

App.: Hazy golden with a bright white rocky head. Aroma: Rich biscuit, quite spicy and peppery, very faint esters, boiled cereals, very clean. Palate: Medium body, moderate effervescence, fairly smooth. Flav.: Nice clean cereal and grain, light Saaz character, a bit of caramel or butterscotch, pretty clean, quite tasty; dry with good bitterness and a green, peppery, biscuit finish.

Clear bright yellow gold. A great showcase of how lovely fresh Saaz hops can be. Full of fragrant floral character, clean and crisp lager base. Delicious!
