[1897-20081209] 341mL bottle. Fruity pumpkin aroma with lots of spices. Clear, orange brown body with a long-lasting foamy off-white head. Fruity spiced grains flavour. Medium body. Quite nice.

Golden colour, cloudy, large white head, lacing on glass’ Light spicy aroma. Taste of spice with a hint of hops. Lacking body, sticks to the roof of your mouth.

From bottle. Bitter aroma of honey with some spice. Golden colour with a thin white head. Clings to the glass. Pumpkin flavour, along with spices. Refreshing ale and different. Seems well balanced with strong pumpkin notes towards the end. Nice beer.

Appearance: Hazy gold with low head. Well carbonated. Aroma: Cloves, Cinnamon, allspice, ginger, brandy, Banana bread, biscuity. Flavour: Spicy first with a light malt background. Sweet but finishes with a light sour character (spices?) tastes more of pumpkin pie spices than it does of beer. Spice first then malt and no hop flavour or bitterness. Mouthfeel: Light bodied and fizzy. Overall: Well, it’s a pumpkin beer what should i have expected. Spice dominates beer character. Finishes sweet and spicy with lingering spice and a light sour character.

Clear, golden & spritzy looking, with no head. Aroma is earthy pumpkin with mild nutmeggy spice. Flavor is malty with a mild cinnamon bite. The beer is decent but not overly exciting.

Pours a hazy gold colour with a small white head. Spice aroma...holy crap, it smells like pumpkin pie! Tastes like it too! You can taste pumpkin, cloves, nutmeg, and cinnamon in the beer (with a little bitter hop finish at the end). The aftertaste is a bit too light, but still, it’s pie in a bottle! This just made my day.

Bottle courtesy of tupalev. As soon as I popped the cap it started foaming out of the bottle, which had me worried, turns out it was fine. It pours a cloudy yellow-gold with a few small floaties, lots of bubbles and a huge lasting foamy white head. Aroma has lots of pumpkin and spices right off the bat, which I like, followed by sweet malt, yeast and light hops -- this is how I like my Pumpkin beers to smell! Flavour’s not as flavourful as the aroma suggested and I’d like it spicier but it’s still enjoyable enough: Starts mild, Golden Ale or Pilsnener-like along with sweet malt, grain, a decent amount of pumpkin, some spices and a light bitter finish. After a while the pumpkin and spices start to come through more making it more enjoyable. Medium bodied, quite carbonated. A nice surprise -- there’s so many crappy or mediocre Pumpkin beers out there but this isn’t one of them, this one is quite good!

Big thanks to my friends Big Red and K for bringing me back a 6 of this long sought after brew! Hazy yellow, decent sized white head. Mouthfeel is very carbonated - maybe even a little too much! Nice pumpkin spice aroma and maybe even a little yeast. Pleasant. taste - hmm, a little more muted than I prefer - I like my pumpkin beers to have a sort of in your face quality. This one is nice - it ticks all of the pumpkin spice and assorted spice boxes, but the body is a little thin and the whole package a little less than inspiring. Still, that sounds too negative, I quite enjoyed drinking a few of these - quaffable stuff.
