UPDATED: SEP 18, 2012 Brown amber with a soapy white thick lasting head. Smells of dark fruit (plum), flowery, malt and caramel with light hops. Medium to full light to oily body. Tastes very frutiy like grapes with sweet malt, caramel and unfermented barley. Very sweet. The finish is a bit citrus and grassy. Some citus but overall frutiy. A decent bitter without many of the faults found elsewhere.

Svesse (6041) - Hässelby, SWEDEN - AUG 28, 2009
(Cask at Crown & Kettle, Manchester, 22 July 2009) Dark amber colour with creamy, beige head. Fruity, slightly malty nose with notes of citrus, apricots, toast and a touch of sulphur. Fruity taste with toast, apricots, orange peel, orange marmalade and a generous earthy, citrussy bitterness in the finish. Medium body with smooth mouthfeel. Nice beer with lots of taste and the fairly low abv makes it very drinkable.

Cask at Ealing beer fest. Some noteably minimal notes here, however as has been said before "the cad knows!" Tea, pale biscuity malts, grassy, bitter.

Bright amber with a thin white head. Tobacco, malt and wheat aroma. Similar flavour but slightly better and some light hoppage in the finish... thankfully. BLAND!

Cask conditioned at Barons Bar, Southport. Amber with white head. Session type bitter and done pretty well, a good bittersweet character, tea like hops, fresh notes and a fruity malty body. Bitter through the finish, quite flowery and lasting. Decent stuff.

cask @ The Wenlock Arms. Dark gold in colour wtih aromas of dry pale malt and a bit of sulfur. Flavors of pin eneedles, tannic biterness (tea?), a bit of mild yeast, and some earthy hops. Light bodied. A little unusual, but very nice.
