Picked this one up at the brewery in December 2011 - Bottle #58. They tell me it may be a one off so I’m not sure it will happen again which is a shame considering it could be their best brew yet.
Hazy amber with a thin quick disappearing white head. Slight smell of whisky, sweet malt, berries, and grass. Smooth thin body with no carbonation. Rich creamy taste of malt that warms the tummy. Clearly it got some of that whisky. Banana coriander on the finish. A little grassy aftertaste.
Overall, very impressive, I would suggest that Prospect do this every year and make is a seasonal. It was great.
