COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Dark, bold, and full-bodied, this stout is flavorful and will remind you of a campfire outdoors. Aged on toasted oak chips, this beer carries a noticeable burnt coffee and chocolate flavor with a touch of vanilla. Take in the flavor of a Mariposa Midnight; much like the area it represents, there is a lot to experience.

Aroma has quite a bit of fruitiness to it with some roast and hops. Some secondary chocolate character. Fruit is plum and fig. Definite American hop flavor present with some citrus. Pours a very dark brown with brown highlights in the edges. Little to no lacing and little legs. Flavor starts with sweet chocolate then quickly moves onto roast. Some nice coffee character from the roast. Dark fruitiness with notes of plum, cherry and fig. Light hoppiness in the finish blends with the hops. Moderate bitterness and a dry finish. Medium light bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall a fairly nice, dry stout with a good fruit and roast character. Some secondary hop aroma a d light hop flavor. A cross between a dry stout and an American stout. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

A- thin dark pour with good light tan head and solid lacing. S- very dirty and chalky aroma with a heavy dose of smoke and cured meat. Some musty wood like a New England farmhouse as well. M- light to medium bodies with a mild palate. Decent but not great carbonation. T- prevalent soda water, earth and smoke up front that also lasts throughout. Some powdered cocoa and wood follows. Ending is mostly water and weak smoke. Taste is fairly simple.
