Prospectors Mariposa Midnight

Aroma has quite a bit of fruitiness to it with some roast and hops. Some secondary chocolate character. Fruit is plum and fig. Definite American hop flavor present with some citrus. Pours a very dark brown with brown highlights in the edges. Little to no lacing and little legs. Flavor starts with sweet chocolate then quickly moves onto roast. Some nice coffee character from the roast. Dark fruitiness with notes of plum, cherry and fig. Light hoppiness in the finish blends with the hops. Moderate bitterness and a dry finish. Medium light bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall a fairly nice, dry stout with a good fruit and roast character.
