Medium bodied, dry texture, soft carbonation, and a light alcoholic feel in the finish.

Tap @ Prost. Pours a clear, dark copper appearance with a khaki head. Rich grainy, flour/herbal, caramel, earthy aroma. Kind of weird fruity, very dry, earthy, straw, toasted grainy flavor. A step in the right direction but not nearly as good as its Dusseldorf counterparts.

Tap at Prost - served in the appropriate glass - clear light amber - sticky, frothy lace - nose of dry, toasty grains, a bit of floral hops, a light mineral bite - mouthfeel is fairly soft - malts are rich, but dry and crackery, becoming just slightly bready on the tail end, adding a touch of toffee sweetness as well a a mineral bite through the middle compliments a hop bitterness that is a bit high for the style, but is fairly pleasant - no apparent flaws - this one turned out pretty well.
