Caramel brown pour, fluffy white head. I loved this brewery. The people were great and I found the beers to be very tasty. This one was a tad sweet, but I had no issued drinking a full one! Rich and caramel forward, clean...yum.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Head is initially small, frothy, white, mostly diminishing.
Body is medium amber.
Aroma is lightly malty (cookie, toasted grain), lightly hoppy (apricot), with notes of stewed peaches/plums.
Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter.
Finish is lightly to moderately sweet, lightly acidic, lightly to moderately bitter, slightly unclean.
Medium body, watery/syrupy texture, lively carbonation, lightly alcoholic.
Pretty standard Prost quality here. Nose is rather light and simple, and has some sickly-sweet stewed/canned fruit odor. Too syrupy and sweet in the mouth, not to mention a dirty aftertaste, so yeah...a few sips is all you’re likely to suffer. Not as bad as the dunkel, but still not something I’d call drinkable. These guys seriously need a guiding hand to help them learn how to use their high-tech equipment, but I worry that they think what they’re producing is good enough, so that may never happen.
