11.2 oz bottle from the Party Source. Pours dark cola brown with a small beige head. The aroma and flavor have roasted malts, black coffee, berries, herbal, earthy, a splash of dark chocolate, mild to moderate bitterness to the finish. Interesting brew, the description says black ipa, the site says porter, I think it’s decent beer.

Bottle sample at Beer 13, Oslo. The junipher (gin charater, really) enhances the porter, making an inventive, unique brew. Summer forest, with a level of soft moss underneath.

Black with a faint red tint and a thick, frothy, tan, lacy, sticky, lasting head. Smells of milk chocolate and dark chocolate, with a faint roast and dried berries. The smells is deep and dark. Smooth full creamy body with medium carbonation. Could use to be left open for a bit. Eventually settles. Tastes of sweet caramel with liquorish, that moves to an intense roasted coffee ashy and yet berry finish. Nice intensity and yet strange and original. A great and interesting porter.
