3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 gunnar (3591) - Sandnes, NORWAY - JUN 21, 2012
On tap at the brewpub. Pours clear dark golden with a small creamy off-white head. Strong aroma of citrussy hops, promising. Taste is fullfilling the promises, lots of crisp citrussy hops, smooth mouthfeel, very well executed IPA, even better than the previous one, which was also delightful.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Beer3000 (3727) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - APR 25, 2012
On tap @ the brewpub. I’m impressed how clear they manage to serve the beers from Provianten, no exception for this one either. Clear, dark orange body with a small and dense off-white head. Nice and strong citric aroma with some caramel malt in the background. Flavor is soft malty, some caramel and lots of citric fruit and balanced bitterness. Not very bitter, but a nice bitter edge and a overall very pleasant beer. One of the best so far from Provianten.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 yngwie (10760) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - MAR 28, 2012
On tap at the brewpub. A clear one, dark amber in color and with a dense, finger-thick beige head. The aroma is on the hoppy side. Citrus-peel, some flowers and grass, as well as a little caramel maltyness. Sweet, smooth and lightly bitter flavor with grass and flowers as well as a pleasant citrusy, pine cone-like hoppyness. A faint note of bread in the end, which is mostly hoppy and bitter. Not the strength and bitterness as in a real IPA, but certainly a nice one. 120328
