Pours almost black with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of roasted malt, chocolate, caramel, grassy and floral hops. Taste is light sweet and light bitter. Body is medium, texture is thin, carbonation is soft.

On tap @ the brewpub. Clear, dark amber body with a small beige head. Aroma of moderate roasted malt, fruit and some caramel. Flavor is caramel malt, slightly roasted, fruity and moderate bitterness. Medium-plus body and some more bitterness and roast in aftertaste. Nothing really outstanding, but a quite nice session beer with flavors.

On tap@Provianten. Pours dark brown with a beige. Aroma is fruity with some red berries and some roasted notes. Flavor is sweet and roasted with some apple and caramel. Medium to thin body, average carbonation.

On tap at the brewpub. It pours a very dark brown body, topped by a small, beige head. Roasted aroma with some licorice, dried fruits, a touch of caramel and a faint diacetyl hint. Roasted, lightly citric flavor with some licorice and dried fruits. Soft, dry and nicely carbonated. Mostly roasted finish. There’s some strange flavors in this one, still it’s a quite decent beer, but I don’t think I’ll have it again anyway. 120421
