On tap @ the brewpub. Murky brown body with a nice, dense beige head. Aroma has caramel, wheat, toffee and yeast. Sweet and fruity flavor with some caramel, bread and hint of fruity acidity. Medium body. Refreshing, tasty and a bit unusually flavor, can’t really decide if the aftertaste is sweet or dry, might have something to do with a slightly hint of acidity.

On tap@brewpub. Pours brown with a creamy beige head. Aroma of caramel, citrus, toffee and licorice. Flavor is sweet and malty with some caramel, nuts, citrus, some roasted notes, licorice and wheat. Medium body, average carbonation. Nicly done.

On tap at the brewpub. It pours an unclear dark brown body and a two-finger dark beige head. Banana and some caramel in the aroma. A touch of roasted malts and some fruityness and yeast too. I like the little roasted touch, sure adds an extra dimension. Flavorwise it’s much the same, some bubble gum notes blend in. Pleasant bitterness towards the end. It lacks a bit on the mouthfeel, it could use more fullness. Nice carbonation. Sure a pleasant weizenbock, although in the lower end of the scale. The looks probably doesn’t deserve a 4, but my total score reflects my opinion on the beer. 120224

Pours murky/cloudy brown with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, wheat, chocolate and yeast. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter with a light bitter and sour finish with a hint of alcohol. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.
