On tap at the brewpub. Pale amber colour with an off-white head. Aroma is malt, sugar, caramel, hop. Flavour is sweet, malt, caramel, hop, fruit. Easy drinkable OK beer.

On tap @ the brewpub. Dark golden body with a moderate sized tan head. Quite mild aroma of caramel, malt and a hint of citric fruit. Flavor is rather light malty, some caramel and hint of caramel. Not much bitterness. Medium body. Decent, but frankly very plain and one-dimensional. This is just an ale with no personality. Not unpleasant, just not very interesting.

On tap at the brewpub. It pours an unclear, almost copper colored body under an inch of creamy, off-white head leaving lacings. Lightly buttery aroma with some hoppy scents giving the impression there’s too much alcohol in it. Sugary maltyness. Creamy, smooth and full-bodied on the palate, pleasant carbonation level, although maybe a bit low. Mostly malty flavor with some bitterness, but in general lacking on hops I think. A bit short finish. Overall a decent beer, but not impressive. 110922

On tap@Provianten. Pours light amber with an off-white head. Aroma malt, grains, fruitiness,caramel and floral notes. Flavor is sweet and fruit with some bitterness. Medium body, average carbonation. Not really a pale ale and quite ordinary too.

Pours cloudy amber with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, caramel, butterscotch and citrus hops. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.
