COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Editor’s note: Served as their regular Pils, from the Pils tap, but as it’s quite a lot darker than a pils, it’s easy to detect the difference. If the brewer’s present, ask him, you can’t expect a very good answer or info from the other employees.

On tap at the brewpub. Pours light hazy dark golden with a big creamy egg white head. Aroma is light grassy. Taste is initially sweet malty, good amount of grassy hops, still not enough to save this beer for beeing a tad too sweet in my opinion.

On tap at the brewpub. Dark gold. Flowery, on the sweet side. Pleasant, but a bit too malty.

On tap @ the brewpub, referred to as Høst Øl but labeled Pils at the tap handle. Deep golden, practically clear, with a fine, stable off-white head. Quite light but pleasant aroma of caramel and fruit. Flavor is relatively sweet with caramel malt and fruit, a little hint of butterscotch, but this is barely significant for my experience. Not much bitterness. Medium body and moderate in aftertaste. Quite quaffable and decent for a lager, but otherwise pretty straight forward.

On tap at the brewpub. It pours a big, off-white head over an almost clear dark golden to copper body body. There’s a touch of butterscotch in the aroma, but it’s soon replaced by fruitiness, some piney notes and dimre lightly caramel tasting maltiness. A bit sweet on the palate, and maybe a bit over-carbonated, but it’s pleasant anyway. A fine bitterness and fruitiness blends in. Fine bitterness in the end. Really pleasant to drink, although a bit on the sweet side. Would be nice having a few of these. 120905
