3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap at the brewpub as Bohemian Lager. Pours clear golden with a small creamy snow white head. Aroma of grassy hops. Taste is crisp and crunchy grassy and noble hops, very good balanced against the light fruity and sweet caramel malty body. Long and dry aftertaste. Great brew.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
UPDATED: MAY 31, 2012 Re-ratet as Bohemian Lager May 2012.
Clear golden body with a white head. Nice, clean grassy hop aroma with a hint of fruit. Flavor is soft malty with a nice grassy bitterness. Pure and clean all the way with a crisp aftertaste. Medium body. Very refreshing. Probably the best Norwegian pilsner I have tasted so far. Hope they manage to re-create this one.
April 2012 version as Pilsner Lager
On tap @ the brewpub. Good looking, practical clear, golden body with a light white head. Mild malty aroma with some butterscotch. Flavor is light malty, fruity, yeast and hint of butterscotch and canned corn. Medium body and OK aftertaste. Feels refreshing and even with some minor off-flavors it’s quite nice. Not fabulous, but a decent thirst-quencher. 6-4-6-3-12

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
UPDATED: MAY 22, 2012 On tap at the brewpub as Bohemian Lager. A hazy golden body is topped by a dense, off-white head. Lots of butterscotch on the nose, as well as a pleasant fruityness. Dry and pleasantly carbonated with flavors of grass, caramel and some pine cones. Dry, bitter finish, quite fruity. Except for the butterscotch it’s a quite pleasant beer. Like most of their beers it seems to be too young. Rating: 5-3-6-3-12-2.9. 111120
On tap at the brewpub. An almost clear one, golden in color and with a white to off-white head. Lacings. Citrus peel, some dms notes and a faint butterscotch touch, and pale malts in the aroma. The flavor has orange peel and some pale malts, rather straightforward and quite boring, with too less bitterness. Medium body, dry, nice carbonation. Bitter and fruity end. Well, it seems a bit unfinished, probably hasn’t been lagered long enough. Rating: 5-3-5-4-11-2.8. 120421
On tap at the brewpub, as Bohemian Lager. Seems the brewer is slowly honing this beer into what he wants it to be, as he’s learning the ropes. It certainly has improved over the months. This time, lightly unclear, golden in color and with a dense, white head leaving lacings. Fruity, yet slightly sweetish nose with some grainy pale malts. Rather dry on the palate, full to medium bodied and perhaps a bit low on bitterness, both initially and in the finish. When complaining to the brewer/owner about the high level of carbonation, he replied that he had to because Norwegians are used to, and expect, a carbonation level like this. I understand his arguments, doesn’t necessarily like it, but on the other hand, the level isn’t way off. Keep up the good work Anders. 120518
