3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Saw it was from the Ukraine and so yes had to pick it up. Pours a cloudy yellow with a musty banana aroma, taste is a little weak but of peardrops !
Not the best example of this style but not bad either....doubt i’ll try again.

2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
I really don’t like this type of beer. Why did I buy this bottle? Because it’s from the Ukraine which is a great country that has suffered terribly. It’s mid gold in colour, slightly cloudy with a small head. Aroma is fruity and a bit musty. Taste is watery and bland with that rather artificial banana-pear thing and a hint of bitterness. They make great wines, though.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
Rated @ Stockholm beer festival. Hazy pale yellow with rich white head. Banana and earth in aroma and flavour. Loads of esters. Slightly to thin to make a perfect hefeweiss.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Fair banana esters, herbal hops and wheat in the aroma. Cloudy golden body with decent white, fine-bubbled head that lasts well and leaves some very nice lacing. Banana esters and clove spices dominate the wheaty flavour. Dry, light body with aggressive carbonation. Bottle (GBBF/RBESG 2005).

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle. Label has some similiarity to Erdinger of Germany, are they affiliated in any way? Banana and lemon in the aroma. palate is smooth except for a slight metallic acidity. Banana is there, touches of clove.A bit thin however and metallic aswell. Its my first beer from Ukraine, so i guess its a fairly good start. An average Hefeweizen though.

Bottle from Tesco. Meh, another average wheat beer based on sweet banana and dry wheaty finish. Boring.
