500 ml bottle. Aroma-Some floral spicy hop, malt character seems bready. Appearance-Hazy, amber, generous long lasting off white head. Taste- Plenty spicy and floral hop, some malt character though no real sweetnes, dry finish with an assertive bitternes. Palate- Med light mouthfeel, smooth, plenty of carbonation. Overall. Does not seem to fit in as a German pils in the strictist but who cares it’s tasty.

Delicious beer tho slightly dark (too amber) for style. Clean and rich flavor, malty but not overly sweet.

50cl bottle from Franklins General Store. Pours a hazy, amber orange with a very creamy, frothy eggshell head. I liked the way it looked, very appetizing, but not a lot like a pilsener. Nose has a lot of biscuit, malts, a little apple, some light lemon zest, rising bread, a little bit of soap. Flavor is malty, crackers, biscuit dough, lemons, soap, some nice fruitiness. Medium bodied, sweet, slightly bitter finish. Definitely not a pilsener. More like a dark heller bock. Although not really to the style, still drinkable and flavorful.

500 mL bottle from Franklins General Store, Hyattsville, MD. Pours a hazy orange color with a large frothy head. Good head retention and lacing. Aroma of bready biscuity malts, leafy, vegetal hops, a bit of grassiness. The taste is grainy, bready malts, caramel, grassy hops, nutty notes, apples and a chemical note. Overall pretty good. Medium bodied. Lingering bitterness.

Bottle from Perfect Pour: Pours a clear deep copper orange with a clingy-lacing froth of off-white head. Has a fresh grassy noble hop nose with a touch of lightly toasted caramel pale malt. Starts with a good malty fullness and some light toasted pilsener maltiness with a hint of light fruity lager yeast esters and a good dose of fresh grassy hops. Finishes fairly clean and bittersweet with good authenticity. An enjoyable German-style Pils.
