Opaque,Irkutsk dark brown with a 1-finger creamy, tan head and excellent lacing.
Aroma of roasted malt, pine, chocolate, figs and earthy brown leaves.
Taste of roasted malt, prunes, chocolate, pineapple and earthy hops.
Medium/full body and medium high carbonation with a velvety yet sparkling mouthfeel.

Pours a dark murky brown with no head. Aroma of malt and hops. Taste is hoppy, malty and roast. Nothing special, hoppy and really malty.

Tap. Pours dark brown with average, creamy tan head; good retention and decent lacing. Aroma is roasted and chocolate malts, earthy and spicy hops, figs, dates, leather, and some woody notes. Flavor is dry, roasted malts (mostly dark chocolate), earthy hops (medium bitterness), dark fruit esters, and some woody notes; dry, ashy finish. Medium body and low carbonation.

Tap at Max’s Taphouse. Pours black with a small, fizzy light tan head, short retention with light lacing. Aroma is dark chocolate and roast malt with earthy and woody, spicy hops and raisins. Flavor is malt forward with heavy hops and bitterness, sweet cedar notes and a dry finish. Medium body and carbonation.
