Germany knows a thing or two about making great beer, so our Hefeweizen is brewed with traditional German methods, which add time and toil to the brew day, but produce a superior-tasting Hefeweizen- refreshingly complex, fruity, spicy, and downright delicious. Crack open a Hide and Seek and roam Bavaria without leaving your backyard.

Pours hazy yellow with a small white head. Aroma is grainy and light estery. High carbonation. Dry, estery and light fruity. Dry and estery into the finish

Pours a very cloudy orange. Crazy thin, huge head. But it dies down to a pillowy thick head. But that goes down to a thin layer of head. Some lacing, not much.

Aroma is banana and yeast. Some cloves, not much. Itís so well carbonated, you can smell it.

Taste is lightly clove. Not so much banana. Maybe some bubblegum. Citrus. I taste the wheat too. Well balanced, itís neither bitter or sweet.

Mouthfeel is medium. Slightly dry. Very carbonated, so it bubbles on your tongue even after you swallow. But if finishes clean.

Overall, this is pretty good. Itís a little weird. Perhaps a little more citrus, or maybe a touch of honey would do this well. Iím not too familiar with the style, but Iím guessing this is decent for the style. I think I would have it again. Itís decent.

Bottle, thanks mom! Banana and clove aroma with notes of wheat. Pours cloudy golden colored with a white head with poor retention and lacing. Starts with good wheat malt flavors with a bit of clove. Finishes smooth with sweet banana coming through before it finishes crisp and clean. Nice hefe!

Bottle. Pours a hazy copper color with a foamy head that fades. Aroma of citrus bit of banana and grass. Taste of slightly sweet citrus with bit of malt and grain. Mild bitterness and a clean finish. Light body, smooth with a refreshing feel. God beer for the summer weather that goes down easy.

Aroma: Wheat a little clove, not much there Appearance: Amber in color and thin white head Taste: very much wheat forward with a little sour/tartness in it, kinda different for a hefe Palate: Nice dry finish, thin body Overall: Solid Wheat, more towards American style wheat, different than some wheats with the tartness. Easy Drinking for hot days

O, sentimental nature, thy doth drive my desire to rate. Had not Seth sent this, rating would be SO unlikely. I was not able to discern much that did not please me. I say this as I have in past number of years grown quite bored with weizen biers. This (as the other two beers I have thus tried from this brewer) was quite clean and well made. From my muddled brain and sense of taste it seemed to be on the German side of the scale between that and an American wheat. I rather liked that as ones I once loved that were extremely ester filled now tend to bother me. It also tasted like it was sent by a very caring friend in a rather dark and confusing time in my life and damn surprised I did not rate it a fukken five for that. Thanks, friend. And come tomorrow - HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

Bottle; darker than expected Amber color with a big frothy head. Aroma of must, wheat, soap and spice; dry aroma. Better flavor with a lot of wheat and some vanilla. Still pretty dry, with not much spice
