COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Germany knows a thing or two about making great beer, so our Hefeweizen is brewed with traditional German methods, which add time and toil to the brew day, but produce a superior-tasting Hefeweizen- refreshingly complex, fruity, spicy, and downright delicious. Crack open a Hide and Seek and roam Bavaria without leaving your backyard.

The beer pours an opaque golden with a large white head with somewhat good retention. The aroma is northwest and grains, but a hint of banana floats underneath. The taste is mildly sweet and a touch sour with heavy wheat and subtle banana comprising the aftertaste. The palate fuses a lively carbonation, medium-light body, and a slick texture.

Grainy aroma. Not much of the usual banana clove for a hefe; it’s more in the background, and you have to hunt for it. Some spice and clove in the taste, but it’s ultimately grainy and watered-down. Obvious example of the style, but not among the best.

Pour is a cloudy orange with a small white head. Aroma is a minor clove with some creamy vanilla. Flavor is an ok little banana and clove but an overall dull gain takes over. Going in the right direction but falls a little flat. A little thin and the hefe yeast doesn’t really offer much.

Pours murky golden orange with a medium sized white head. The aroma has cream, smooth citrus, banana, gentle wheat, caramel and light spice - kinda odd for a hefe. It has a light body with a bit of bite and sharpish carbonation. The flavor starts spice, crisp wheat, mild cream and lots of phenolic bite. The finish has a papery aspect. Fair hefe.
