2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
473 ml can from the brewery. very grainy, husky nose, slightly sweet and malty as well. hopping blances the malt but the malt provides much more to the flavour profile then the hops. could be cleaner, not a kolsch.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
473ml can from the brewery, bright pale yellow gold color, with a thick white head, soft crunchy pale, pilsener malt, fresh nose with a subtle vanilla accent, and cut straw, herbal floral hop leafy aroma follows through on a medium-bodied palate with a crisp pale, pilsener cereal, wet honeyish malty character, with a yeasty bubblegum, flowery hop dry leafy backbone, with some hints of grassy hoppiness and lemon peel citrusy, leading towards a sweetish, honeyish pale malt, faint lingering hoppy, leafy, dryness finish.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Can [473ml] shared with the gang at ’WaterlooWeekend Oct.’09’ -- c/o tupalev. Pours a slightly hazy gold with an average size diminishing white head. Aroma of caramel, maybe diacytl, along with corn, herbal hops and fruit. Flavour of grain, hops and caramel malt, slightly buttery, the finish is surprisingly bitter -- not tons or anything, just more then expected. Average to medium bodied. Not bad, I could have a few pints of this.

[2543-20091024] 473mL can. Cake mix aroma has very odd corn characteristics. Slightly hazy, light orange yellow body with a quick foamy white head. Bitter corn mash flavour is a little buttery. Medium body. Weird bitter hops notes.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
UPDATED: AUG 25, 2013 2013-08-20. Crisp yellow body small white head. Aroma is mild, lightly hoppy pale malt. Flavour is similar, mild bitterness throughout. Lightly floral hop character, mild fruity notes. Average bodied palate, soft carbonation. MUCH better than previous can sample. Can we had later that night was somewhere between the draft version and the previous can sample so clearly freshness is a good thing with this one. 6/3/6/3/13+ On tap at the brewery.
2009-10-24. Lightly hazy yellow body with a small white head that fades. 3+ Odd fruity aroma, strawberry like? What the heck! 6+ Sharp bitterness in the flavour, touch of something that might be diacytl or similar, finish is a touch astringent., touch of straw. I found it a bit rough overall. Average palate. 6/3/5/3/12 Can shared by Tupalev

3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
(can ). at October 2009 WaterlooWeekend. Hazy gold, average white head. Smells like canola - oily, dry, herbal. Taste is quite bitter and grassy, milder oiliness to the grainy malt - not too sweet, a bit earthy - solid, really. Thick body, a bit undercarbonated, surprisingly bitter in the finish. I liked it - not the smell, though.
