Canned from lcbo. Hazy yellow, big white head like a wit. The aroma is musty and the taste is rather full and a bit roasted.

Pours clear yellow gold with a white head that laces the glass. Aroma of malts, grain and grass. Taste is the same as aroma. Very good.

473ml can. Pours an average frothy white head and has a deep golden appearance. Nice thick dirty lacing. Aromas are malty and grainy with hints of grassy hops. Flavours have fairly strong grainy and grassy notes, some herbal hop hints as well as sweet maltiness. Good retention and average carbonation. Slick and medium bodied mouthfeel.

Can from The Beer Store. A bright golden beer with lightly sweet notes of cereal & biscuit and herbal noble hops that build to a notable bitterness in the finish. It’s a bit odd to have a Kölsch presented as a "pub ale", but semantics aside, this is a nicely balanced beer with more character than many of the golden ales and Euro-lagers that it stylistically resides somewhere between.

Clear light amber. Has a saaz hoppy metallic like note with some cereal or hay. There is a bit more flavour here than than expected but it has a real mettallic or soapy taste 5 hat I don’t enjoy.
