3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Can: Poured a light copper color ale with a large foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of light citrusy notes with grainy malt notes. Taste is also dominated by light citrusy notes with grainy malt bill and some light bitter finish. Body is about average with good carbonation. I thought the hops profile fell short for the style.

From my friend Melissa. Golden, clear, with yellowish thick foam. Dry blanket, with flowers in the aroma. Mild malt, pepper, spice, with strong bitter aftertaste.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
473 ml can. Pours an almost clear pale amber with a resilient white head. Aroma is caramel, cereal, earthy, citrus. Flavor is fruity, grapefruit, dry biscuit, flour, earth. Finish is grapefruit, lemon, zesty. Lingering grapefruit flavor. Medium body, soft mouthfeel, average carbonation. Like that pale ale.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours hazy gold with a small white wisp. Aroma is dank, pine hops and cereal malt. Taste is resinous, dank pine hop bitterness that is really nice. Solid pale ale.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
UPDATED: NOV 1, 2014 Appears as a very light, polished copper. Decent white head.
Aromas of caramel malts, molasses and a grass meets fruit smell I can’t quite describe.
Taste wise, we are looking at the traditional sweet caramel malts, meets hop bitterness. Balanced but leaning a bit towards the sweet caramel malts.
Overall, a decent brew but not doing enough for me to stand out amongst the myriad craft brews in the market right now.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
This ale poured a medium amber colour with a off white, foamy head. Scents include malt, light caramel, honey and hops. First sip was a little sweet. Flavours of grass, honey and toast. Finish is hoppy with a medium bitterness.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours a clear amber with a huge frothy white head. Aroma of caramel, biscuit, ton of sweet floral esthers muting the hops. Taste is caramel, biscuit, piney and eathery. Has a nice creamy mouthfeel but the bitterness is really astringent into the finish and is too hoppy for a pale ale or at least the astringency gives that perception. Nice solid base just likely a bit of an off batch bit really do love the creaminess of this beer.

473 ml can from LCBO. Pours a nice amber colour with a small off-white head. Aroma is hops, with citrus notes. Taste of tropical fruits, hops. Pretty decent beer. Got 5,5% ABV for this one.

Nice, drinkable APA offering. A bit of caramel, some orange, grapefruit and piney hops. This beer hits all the APA standards....like a good cover band.
