Tap at Prenup Pub in Toronto. Clear amber with excellent head formation and retention, also lace. The relatively mild aroma is fruity and resiny. Tastes... surprisingly good! So fresh, so refreshing! So subtly fruity, without any specific ones standing out. Good malt backbone, although the bitterness takes hold in mid-taste, continuing into finish. Soft, velvety smooth mouthfeel, subtle carbonation. Not at all too light, but goes down very easy. Ah, an excellent quencher after a horribly busy day.

Tall can, shared by the manager @ Vineyards in Ottawa. Medium amber, off white head. Grainy, a bit doughy, light caramel, light apricot, low bitterness. Not great.

473 mL can. Copper to amber pour, medium white head, okay retention. Sweet malt aroma, caramel, also some light hops, fruit. Good balance taste of sweet malt and lightly bitter hops. Resin and pine hop finish that pretty nice.

Hoppy and bready aroma. Golden with thin white head, slightly cloudy. Grainy flavour with some bitter hops and thin body. Pretty good but could use more body.

Can: Poured a light copper color ale with a large foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of light citrusy notes with grainy malt notes. Taste is also dominated by light citrusy notes with grainy malt bill and some light bitter finish. Body is about average with good carbonation. I thought the hops profile fell short for the style.

Poured from the tap. Clear, light medium orangey brown with off white head. Piney, grassy hops with mild citrus hops, subtle caramel malt, a bit watery. Dryish finish.

From my friend Melissa. Golden, clear, with yellowish thick foam. Dry blanket, with flowers in the aroma. Mild malt, pepper, spice, with strong bitter aftertaste.

473 ml can. Pours an almost clear pale amber with a resilient white head. Aroma is caramel, cereal, earthy, citrus. Flavor is fruity, grapefruit, dry biscuit, flour, earth. Finish is grapefruit, lemon, zesty. Lingering grapefruit flavor. Medium body, soft mouthfeel, average carbonation. Like that pale ale.

Pours hazy gold with a small white wisp. Aroma is dank, pine hops and cereal malt. Taste is resinous, dank pine hop bitterness that is really nice. Solid pale ale.
