3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
On tap at brewpub. Pour is clear orange/amber with a big white head and great lacing. Weedy, grassy, lightly resinous, caramelly, bready, and orange peel in the aroma. Taste is grapefruit, snappy, crackers, sweet caramel, ganja, weedy, and somewhat toasty with a medium bitter finish. Medium body with high carbonation. Not a bad pale ale, but nothing special...at least it tastes fresh.

1.8 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
On hand at Denver Summer Beer Fest 2012. Clear copper with a weird aroma like stale hops and sweat. Flavor is ok but has a metallic aftertaste. Throughout there is a bit of toffee and herbal hops, but that strong metallic finish is killer...

The aroma is cracker malt along with a lighter bitter citrus and mild pine hop. Nice balance on the nose, fresh. The taste is the nose, a nice smooth cracker malt, with slightly sweet caramel, blended with the lightly bitter citrus pine hops. The palate is thin to medium, crisp quick finish. Smooth easy drinking beer, perfect for sitting on the dock at the marina.

clear apple juice gold body, white head. fresh and vibrant hop nose, mostly clean, with medium to mild yeast doughiness (also clean). aromatic hops are straightforward centennial and cascade. medium body, mild to medium syrupyness, medium+ hop bitterness. medium-length finish. a simple recipe that’s well-executed leaving you with a fairly typical american pale ale that benefits from freshness.
