Smooth and satisfying, this stout has a bit of Belgian candy sugar added to the boil, and a tincture of honey, Jim Beam, vanilla, hazelnut, and Frangelico added.

On tap at the brewery. Dark brown/black with mahogany highlights and a moderate pillowy tan head. Aroma is boozy bourbon with a touch of sweet chocolate and fresh earth. Flavor explodes across the palate, ranging from sharp candy sugar to bittersweet chocolate to vanilla and cocoa and finishing with the roasty hazelnut. Slippery slick texture, just a bit beyond silky. There’s a lot going on here, give it a try for dessert!

On tap at brewpub. Pour is pitch black with a frothy tan head and great lacing. Coffee, roasty, vanilla, somewhat bready, a touch grassy, earthy, and graham crackery aroma. Taste is sweet vanilla, brown sugar, roasted malt, espresso, earthy, caramel, grass, and bread with a roasted bitter finish. Medium body with soft carbonation. Really tasty stout.

On tap at the brewery is dark black with nice creamy tan head, aroma has notes of caramel, vanilla, roasted coffee, chocolate, very nice and balanced that’s not overly sweet. Taste is a mix of sweet vanilla and caramel, nice bitter chocolate and coffee, touch of roast, finishes fairly dry. Nice stuff!
