COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Refreshing ale served with blueberries in the glass. Pours golden-orange with a fine white head. Aroma of fresh blueberries, blueberry bread (floury), crystallized sugars and pepper. Sweet flavors dominated by mild blueberries with a malty background. Sweet fruity aftertaste with hints of pepper. Light-medium body, creamy and refreshing. Our Blueberry Ale is better enjoyed as an aperitif or with dessert. Keeping an open mind, it fits nicely with food plates which are slightly sweet in flavours (like some Cantonese dishes), or with any meat when served with a fruit based sauce (preferably blueberry, such as our Blueberry Ale Sweet and Mild BBQ sauce offered at our Barnyard BBQ) or with fruits in the stuffing. Some nice pairings: Cheese cake (with or without fruits), crème Brulée, Wensleydale cheese with Blueberries.

Can shared by Deyholla. Thanks. Pours a clear medium yellow with minimal head. Aroma is sweet blueberry muffin from a vending machine. Taste is sweet, subdued blueberry. Certainly not great. Kind of odd.

Can thanks to DeyHolla! Gold pour with no head whatsoever. Nose smells like artificial blueberry cake mix. Little else. Very sweet flavor. More blueberry. A bit syrupy. Very strong carb. Not my thing.

Good enough fruit beer. Blueberry is there on the nose and upfront on the tongue, but not overpowering. Fun summer drink, especially in the heat. Not as complex as their other offerings.

Pumphouse Blueberry Ale 5% From New Brunswick and a lovely gold with a fluffy white head plus an aroma of fresh blueberry pie an cracked malt. The beer is light bodied with a tangy blueberry flavor but also mild hints of diacetyl.

Bottle from NB Liquor. Pours a hazy straw colour with a small white head. Aroma is bread and not too pronounced blueberry. Taste is similar, sweet. Ok beer.

Slightly hazy straw color with moderate activity moving in slow motion from a thick body. Weak white 2 finger sparkly head, lasting around 5 minutes, with average legs. Aroma of blueberry muffins. Flavors of grains, fresh blueberries, caramel, lemon, herbal spices. Bready and malty with minimal hops. More sugary than sharp with a nice syrupy feel. Thick syrupy medium body with crispy carbonation. Faint and short finish, ending with a faint fruity blueberry feel, some roasted malt, and a little noble spices. Overall average in quality offering decent flavors and good freshness. While the flavors are good they are a little faint and the feel is missing some personality. Nice summer beer almost like drinking a blueberry version of a lemonade. Although I find Gahan’s blueberry ale to be much better.

Can from NB Liquor. Clear pale gold with a small short lived white head. Nose is blueberry with very light toffee and grain. Flavour is light+ sweet with a slight tartness. Mouth is medium- and slick with soft carbonation and a short crisp finish. Might be good on a hot day. 7-/2+/6/3/11

Can. Hazy golden yellow pour with a medium white head. Aroma is like a blueberry danish or pie - sweet blueberry with some bready and biscuity notes like pastry. Taste is a little sweet, lots of blueberry, touch of cereal. I can only assume this has artificial flavours, but really not bad.

From a can. Sweet blueberry aroma. Pours a cloudy yellow with very small white head. Mild blueberry flavour with a touch of bitterness. Medium body. Sweet finish.
