3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle shared with HogTownHarry and tupalev -- courtesy of tupalev. Pours a very pale clear yellow with a small diminishing white head. Pleasant aroma of blueberries and hops. Flavour of blueberries and hops is decent but a little watery. Light bodied. This is good for what it is but one’s enough for me.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle (341ml). Shared with blankboy and tupalev, tupalev’s bottle. Clear pale gold with a small fizzy-foamy head. Aroma of blueberries - rich but very dry, light generic sweetish amber beer in the background, hints of scotch ale petrol sharpness. Taste is very funky-hoppy, almost bitter blueberry (made me think of dark chocolate blueberry candies) - interesting, not something I’d often repeat. Mouthfeel sweet yet astringent, quite fizzy, watery - not too bad for a fruit beer!

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottled. Pale clear amber with an enormous head. I could smell the blueberries when I poured this one, but there was surprisingly little blueberry in the nose after it sat for a bit. There’s a bit more blueberry in the aftertaste than in the taste, but there’s plenty in both. Very lightly hopped. The malt comes through with a lightly sweet, nutty taste, but the strong effervescence makes it seem a bit thin for me. Lacy in the glass to the end.

2.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Tap at Maxwell’s Plum, Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. Smooth beer. Some light blueberry aroma. Blond/Golden color with a low carbonation. A good blueberry taste. Not too strong, not sweet. I prefer the fruits beer a bit more sour and a bit stronger but this one was all right.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Clear golden with aromas of fresh blueberries. HUGE blueberry flavour that surprisingly still permits some soft malt character to come through. Not overly sweet or cloying at all, and not perfumey or candyish-- truly an excellent and well balanced fruit beer.

2.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Rating is for the tap at the Snooty Fox. The rating for the bottle would be 1 mark lower in appearance, palate, and possibly overall. This is the only beer I’ve had with fruit floating around in it. Tasty and amusing but not really a good beer.

2.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Tap at Maxwell’s Plum. Sadly, I didn’t get the fresh blueberries in the glass here, but what I did get was a crystal clear pale gloden beer with a thich white head. Strong, sweet, fresh blueberry aroma. Flavour is sweet and dominated by fruit. Body is thin and the flavour is a bit more muted than the aroma had promised. How can you make a blueberry beer without getting any blueberry colour?

2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Golden ale that wears a faint fading white head. Rather focused blueberry juice nose, both pith and fleshy if nothing else, remaining okay, not overwhelmingly sweet, but without attributes to set it away. Subtler fruits in mouth, where it becomes duller, grainier and focusing on indistinctive and effervescent thinness.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours copper colour with a decent size white frothy head. Lots of Blueberry flavours with notes of hop and grass. Blueberry flavours are present from the beginning to the finish, much stronger flavours then the last time I tried this beer, but still not so sweet that it’s sickening. Very enjoyable.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Clear golden color with bubbles. Foamy white head, mostly lasting. Blueberry and wheat arome. Taste is malt, wheat and blueberry in the aftertaste. Refreshing but thin. Nice beer, if u like the seadog u will like this one for sure.
