3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Clear golden color with blueberries floating in it, thin white head. Strong aroma and flavor of blueberries. Light to medium body, soft carbonation.

2.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Tap at Maxwell’s Plum, Halifax. Light golden colour. Blueberry pie aroma. Berry flavour is fresh and sweet without being sugary or syrupy, but the beer itself is pretty weak. OK for a quick quaff on a warm patio, but nothing to spend a lot of time thinking about.

I went to New Brunswick one day and I stumbled across this gem. Was kinda worried at first but I opened it and the smell wa amazing! It was a perfectly clear golden beer. Went down a little too smooth haha. Polished off all 6.

You have to be a fan of blueberries to enjoy this one. I for one, do not like my beer to be so sweet to taste. the blueberries at the bottom, though a frivilous novelty, does make for a shabby appearance.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 15/20
Clear fresh blueberry aroma very present and fruity. Served with real blueberries. Very refreshing. Globally very good but also very light.

3.1 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
many people seem to like this stuff for its novelty - I like blueberries and I like beer, but the combination results in a very strange taste. I actually expected more blueberry flavor. very appealing aroma and appearance. watching the blueberries float to the surface and then eventually sink again gives you something to do if the conversation isn't particularly stimulating

3.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Drank this ontap poolside @ the Sheraton Fredricston NB...very cool presentation with the berries and all. Nice clean color, good clean flavor (Non-skunky - your breath'd be near fresh after drinking these). The berries could be an issue for some, but I thought it cool to freshen the palate between drafts with them. The flavor wasn't overpowered by any particularly harsh influences - just a nice really smooth, but not non-descript, brew. I wouldn't drive >600 miles to have it again, but next time I'm around there, I'll be drinking it !

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Served with a dollop of actual blueberries in it. This goes on top and then they fire another shot of beer into the glass, creating a purple swirl in the head. Most of the blueberries sink gradually to the base of the glass, where they make a nice snack to finish up the Pump House Blueberry Ale experience. The beer itself is golden amber. Smells like blueberries ( I have to admit, the presence of those fresh blueberries – it’s harvest season so I know they’re fresh – would do a good job hiding the use of extract). Tastes like bland, fizzy, yellow ale with blueberries. Points for presentation, no question – it’s even better than drawing shamrocks in your Guinness and miles ahead of that pretentious Interbrew nonsense. But it’s really not that good a beer.

2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Deep orange colour, blueberries in the glass, thick white head. Blueberry and sugar aroma, reminded me of Eggo blueberry waffles. Blueberry flavour, but mostly from the berries rather than the beer. Otherwise dry and mostly bland.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
UPDATED: SEP 4, 2006 August 2006 - Nice yellow head, small creamy white head with a purple streak where the blueberry was dropped in. (3+) Sweet mild aroma of blueberries washes out most of the pale malts that try to peak out, pleasantly so – like a freshly smooshed bowl of blueberries. Sweet but light blueberry flavour, very mild pale malt, subtle. Palate is smooth but almost a bit too thin bodied. Nice. 6+/3+/6+/3/14 - 3.3
<P>August 2002 - different. Just enough hops and fruit to be interesting. Decent. Served with blueberries in the glass 6/4/6/3/10 - 3.0
