3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 reebtogi (1524) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - NOV 4, 2011
341ml bottle pours a pale amber color with a modest white head that settles quickly and leaves only slight traces of lacing. Aroma is light toasted malts and some aromatic hops. Taste is light malty sweetness with some nuttiness and a bit of hop bitterness in the finish. Nothing special.
3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 Powertrip (756) - Calgary, Alberta, CANADA - SEP 24, 2011
Single bottle purchase from Zyn Liqour in 06/24/2011. Colour: Very dark orange with medium creamy and stable head.. Nose: Sweet honey glaze, candied cashews, roasted pine nuts, oven fresh nut bread. Taste: Medium-light sweet, medium bitter, light sour. Crackling barley and deliscious roasted malt. A sweet and sour piney trace late. Extremely well balanced and delicious.

big head, has a brown to red colour, clear colour (from too much filtration?). Doesn’t have a big aroma (from the overfiltration?). but there are some roasted notes in there. palate is muted again reminds me of flavour removal from filtration. it has some bite and some nice roasted and big caramel flavour but it is a simple brew.

2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 imaragingbull (301) - Sydney, AUSTRALIA - FEB 20, 2011
Bottle. Pours murky mud red-brown with quickly vanishing off white head. Touch of green apple, toffee sweetness, biscuit and nutty malt aromas. Medium carbonation, light medium body, typical amber ale malt backbone, but near cloying close to that of an artificial sweetness takes on a bit too much of a role, being not all that pleasant right through the finish.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Cole (885) - , Alberta, CANADA - OCT 11, 2010
Pours reddish amber with a thick white head. Nice arpoma very malty with notes of caramel and a subtle hop note. Flavour is nice sweet and malty with a light hop finish. Very drinkable. This is a nice session beer, but nothing to brag about.
3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Metalchopz (1173) - Quebec, CANADA - OCT 6, 2010
Originally rated August 2009. New at the LCBO and comes in a 6-pack. Pours a caramel colour with an off-white head that leaves a creamy wave of lacing all around. The carbonation is quite light and the bubbles I see are very tiny. Nice caramel smell with some fruit, grain malt and beautiful nutty perfume. The mouthfeel is kind of thin with just a little stickiness in the end. Roasted malt taste, with fruits, nuts and light grain in the aftertaste. Quite a pleasant refreshing red ale that I would drink again.
