Thick creamy color head that diminishes into a ring. Pours a dark copper. Nose of toasted malt and caramel. Tastes of nut and slight hops. More than normal carbonation. Average red.

341 ml bottle, Calgary, AB, Canada. Pale amber, artificial sweet aroma. Sweet flavour, though faint, and metallic hops come out at the end. Not my favourite red ale.

Bottle. 5%. Boring tasting copper/amber ale. Nice colouring with a tan, creamy foam, but the taste is nothing to write home about. Firemen deserve better.

Sample on tap at the brewpub. Red color with thin straw head. Almond aroma, tons of toasted malt, caramel and toffee. Flavor is light and a tad sweet, tons of toasted malt, caramel. Not bad but definitely a tad bland.

Pours a clear reddish amber with a nice off white top that leaves some lace. Aroma is caramel and nuts. Taste is nutty and caramel. All around a nice session red beer.

Pours a clear dark amber with decent white head diminishing to a fair white ring around the glass. Aromas are caramel, mild toasted malt, and some nuttiness. Flavours of toasted malt, nutty, and light bitterness.

A sweet, tasty beer. Malt aroma, with a light caramel flavour. Hides its 5.5% alc volume well.

Average in every way. Red in colour. Slight malty aroma, and slight malty sweet flavour. Okay.

patricks110 (1582) - Alberta, CANADA - APR 6, 2012
A very average brew. Pours out a light amber with a finger of foamy beige head. Light carbonation sparkles in the body. The nose is sweet and caramelly with light bready notes and a hint of a hop. The taste is fake caramel and lightly malted with a mild hop and nutty taste. A good balanced session amber with a nice nutty and caramel backbone.
