Draught @ Pump House Brewery, Moncton, NB: Amber pour, good sized head. Aroma is very hoppy, smells promising. Bitter! Very spicy with floral and citrus hops. Malty toffee hop bomb. Love it.

Not very hoppy, this IPA is more focussed on malty bitterness. Not great but not for me.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
341ml bottle pours a copper color with a finger of white head that leaves some spotted lacing on the glass. Aroma is citrus and caramel with hints of pine. Taste is a grapefruit and pine hop bitterness with a caramel malty sweetness. Medium bodied with decent carbonation leaving a nice tingle on the palate. A well crafted brew that exceeded my expectations and was well enjoyed.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Clear amber pour with lots of eggshell head. Lots of grapefruit on the nose with some spruce, and caramel. A bit of a letdown on the palate. Everything seems muddled somehow. Decent bitterness in the finish but this one is certainly nothing to write home about.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
This IPA has a long duration for flavor, with an extremely bitter finish. Citrus and fruit in there, but itís the hops that shine through. Very West-coast-like! M: Medium-bodied and creamy, with average carbonation. D: A really interesting and tasty IPA; I must admit, I was surprised Pump House would make an IPA this strong and hoppy. Sure, you canít drink something like this all night, but itís damned good.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
On tap at the brewpub. Very hazy gold pour, white head. Great hoppy nose, lots of really strong citrusy hops, citrus rind, grapefruit. Taste is very bitter, a bit too much so in fact, good hop flavor but slightly acrid citrus flavor. That being said, it was a pretty delicious hop fix.

4.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
On tap at brewpub, pours a hazy golden orange with a white head that leaves some lace. Smell is of citrus and hops. Tastes like grapefruit up front with some piney notes. Finishes with a great bitterness that sticks around, the way an ipa shod be.malts and hops are balanced nicely and complete hide abv.

Pint at P.H. restaurant. Cloudy dark orange. Great caramel and floral notes, which are more prominent than the citrus. Caramel taste upfront and great hop bitterness. Nice citrus coming through. Good stuff.

UPDATED: AUG 14, 2014 Aug 2014 update. Terrible. Butter popcorn overly sweet. Brutal beer.
Very solid IPA from a usually interesting brewery. Pretty big grassy hop up front, some mild malty balance on the back end. Full in the mouth. with lots of carbonation. Good stuff.
