This lager poured a clear medium amber colour with a big, beautiful, off white head. Thick creamy head with nice lacing. To the nose there are scents of sweet malts, toast, light grassy hops and very, very faint vinegar. First sip was slightly watery with flavours of malt and porridge. Finish was thin though with very slight hop flavour ontop of a whopping malt.

Sugary honey malt aroma. Pours amber gold with small head that dissipates quickly. Typical lager slightly water downed. Smooth on the palate.

2013-01-21. Dark golden amber body with a small off white head. Aroma is moderate, mild malt notes. Flavour is sweetish up front, light caramel touches very lightly fruity. Average bodied palate, modest carbonation. Okay. Decent take on what they are trying to do but a bit dull overall. Can from NBLC, Fredericton

[Can (473ml) shared with HogTownHarry, jercraigs & mabel -- c/o j&m] Pours a deep yellow-gold with a spare diminishing white head. Aroma of corn, canned peas, grassy hops and caramel malt. Flavour of grassy hops. corn and grain. Average bodied. Meh, just O.K.

Pours a golden yellow with a small white head that disspiates quick into a small ring. Aroma of sweet pale malts, honey, toast and nice light floral/fruity hop notes. Taste is sweet pale malts, toast, with hints of fruity hops on that finish that leave a bit of spice and grass flavors. Nice dry finish that’s crisp and clean...definitely a go to lager.

(Rating #5292)

can. pours clear golden with a nice white head, some retention and lacing. spicy toasted malts, unmistakable lager fruitiness, very hint of caramel, spicy citrus with a touch of pine - well dosed cascadian-like light hopping leaving room for subtle lager fruity esters. moderate carbonation, light body - never watery, nice dry and crisp herbal-grassy-spicy finish. enjoyed this offering with my diner - no diacetyl whatsoever in my can.

On tap at the pub. Tons of frothy white head on a bright gold pour. Really malty aroma, grainy with a hint of honey, a bit mineral/metallic. Taste is malty, dusty hops, mineral finish. Not bad, pretty clean.

Rich golden colour. Aroma is very dirty - lots of diacetyl. A bit of malt sweetness and a touch of herbal hop flavour. Meh.

Meh. Thin lager pours amber gold, little head with sweet malt on the nose. Overly grassy with metallic tin aftertaste.
