2.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
Dark golden. Maintains a thin white head. Malty aroma witb some grassiness. Malty flavor turns grassy as beer warms. Lot of flavor for 4.5. Genuine Singapore microbrew. Thanks Romeo.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
A blonde lager with a thin off white head. In aroma, faint malt with very restrained hops, In mouth, a light biscuitty malt with very faint German hops, watery and boring. On tap at brewpub, July 4, 2011.

1.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
Light gold. The aroma is a bit husky, the palate a bit "kit" like. Thin and not the best balance. A bit of a sorry example, Iím afraid.

1.7 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
Draft @ brewpub. Clear gold with decent head. Flawed aroma has diacetyl, phenols, sweet glue, and artificial vanilla. Thin, flawed, and poopy flavors with a bitter aftertaste. Very disappointing.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Draught at Pump Room, Singapore. Murky golden with a medium white head. Aroma and flavour of malt, fruit and grassy hops. Light medium bodied. Great bitterness and balance. Thereís heaps of flavour here, finishing a touch dry with more fruit. Clean, crisp and very refreshing. Wow.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
UPDATED: APR 4, 2009 Good interpretation of a classic style lager. It has a nice bright golden colour with a shine. A factor that would prompt you to give it a shot. A distinguished aroma thatís not overpowering. Light but compact body without lack in character. The maltiness is just about right for a lager (could use a little bit more though). There is a good balance of hops aroma and bitterness. The degree of hoppiness is fine-tuned. Itís a notch away from a pilsner and you canít mistake it for a bohemia. I am not sure, but The Pump Room seems to use delectable hops of the right quantum. There are citrus and spice angles to this brew but, in moderation. Itís a crisp and clean drink. However, itís still rich and flavourful. Probably because itís microbrewed, unfiltered and unpastuerised. The carbonation level is appropriate; you wonít feel all gassed up. Overall, a straight forward uncomplicated brew thatís easy to enjoy. Nice to pair with most foods. Great for any weather and suitable for many occasions.

UPDATED: NOV 14, 2007 Draught at the brewpub
Hazy blond color. Citrusy hoppy aroma. Medium body, some sweetness, not enough malt and crispness, but an interesting citrusy hopping and good bitterness. Itís just a bit too bitter (the hop infusion time?), but pleasant. Not as good as the Bohemian Lager, but worth to try it again.
