Draught. Body is dark brown. Aroma is moderately malty (toasted/roasted grain, coffee), lightly hoppy (herbs), with a note of minerals. Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, moderately bitter. Medium body, watery/velvety texture, lively carbonation. Well-executed example of the style...clean, proper aroma, balanced. Nice.

Light tan head; deep black with brown edges. Creamy and light body; prickly carbonation. Spicy and chocolaty, with a pinch of vanilla. Very roasted. Underlying milk chocolate sweetness. Nice and complementing bitterness. Dryish finish. Bitter-sweet chocolate aftertaste. Not overly charismatic, but not bad.
