Pumphouse Heat Wave Hefeweizen

Opaque yellow-orange with sticky lace. Smooth and creamy texture up front. Yeasty, with sweet banana and some light clove aromas. Nice nip of bitterness and a little tartness. Tingly, spritzy carbonation in the middle. Lingering sweetness, with notes of cooked plantains and ’nilla wafers. Overall, pretty flavorful with decent balance.

Draught. Body is hazy medium yellow. Aroma is moderately malty (toasted grain), with notes of banana and clove. Flavor is moderately sweet, moderately acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, moderately acidic, moderately bitter. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation.
