30/12 The very first beer from my Styrian holidays, had it in Pansion where we stayed, as helles beer option (only 2 beers there). Draught, had it few times. Pours pale yellow body with medium head. Nice flowery aroma, with some fruitiness, mostly apple. Nice, pleasant, but quite light flavor, malty and fruity. Pretty carbonated, although not too much to ruin it. Bit light bodied, following the shorter finish, but very nice and tasty beer. Now when I saw the ratings don’t know did I get the right one as drank it only draught, but the keg indicated so. Mine was typical German Helles style beer, way far from pale lager!

A fine pilsner, this, with full maltiness and a strong hoppy bitterness in the finish. Certainly a more beery beer than most of the mild pale beers in Austria.
