Cask (handpump) @ Wellington, Birmingham B2, UK. Clear light amber color with a average, frothy, fair lacing, fully lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, hay, grass, toffee. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft / flat. (120108)

UPDATED: APR 12, 2008 Cask handpull at The Wellington, Birmingham. Copper colour and as clear as a bell. Lasting beige head. Earthy fruity malty aroma. OK condition, quite rounded in mouth, with a nutty fruitiness in mouth. Nice strawberry jam. Finish has caramel and a slight earthy hop sting. Rather nice. 500ml pasteurised bottle 4.8%. Copper with lasting beige head. Very biscuity bitter, decent hop malt balance with some yeasty character. Not much in mouth, some biscuit, some candy sugar on swallow. Faint hop finish. No real kick. It’s a bitter.
