1/2 at the Tilley Stone Gateshead. Slightly hazy golden beer with a thin white head. Cereal and honey aroma. Cereal and citrus flavours, with the merest hint of blue fruits . Soft carbonation and a juicy palate. Doesn’t sound much out of the ordinary, but somehow contrives to be more than the sum of its parts. A lovely quencher.

Cask at the Merchants Inn, Rugby, 03/04/13.
Very lightly hazed golden with a good sized off white head that retains well.
Nose is pale malt, light citrus, touch of hops, grass.
Taste follows the nose pretty much to a tee.
Medium bodied, soft carbonation, smooth and pleasant on the palate.
Ok drinkable beer, looks and feels better than the flavours in the middle!

An amber beer with a thick head. A slight zesty aroma and the flavour is similar but slightly sweeter than I expected from the smell. It’s not particularly strong-tasting but it’s quite refreshing anyway.
