Nice easy beer with a soft hoppy flavor that mellows as it warms slightly. Pretty safe and standard IPA. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Cask - good, pale ale, though quite sweet. The bitterness grows slowly to a good level by the end. Decent.

Cask. Golden clear ale with a thick light tan head. Nose is hoppy and spicy with lemon, grapefruit and a hint of honey in the hop. Hoppy in the mouth with an instant bitter bang of lemon, grapefruit, grapes and tangerine - becomes malty and sweet as it moves over the tongue and then the finish is unexpectedly spicy with some woodiness and tea-like qualities. Decent.

1/2 at the Tilley Stone Gateshead. Slightly hazy golden beer with a thin white head. Cereal and honey aroma. Cereal and citrus flavours, with the merest hint of blue fruits . Soft carbonation and a juicy palate. Doesnít sound much out of the ordinary, but somehow contrives to be more than the sum of its parts. A lovely quencher.

Well balanced, well hopped nose with cereal notes. Flavour follows, with fresh hops threaded with honeyed malts. A nice golden ale.

Cask at the Merchants Inn, Rugby, 03/04/13. Very lightly hazed golden with a good sized off white head that retains well. Nose is pale malt, light citrus, touch of hops, grass. Taste follows the nose pretty much to a tee. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, smooth and pleasant on the palate. Ok drinkable beer, looks and feels better than the flavours in the middle!

An amber beer with a thick head. A slight zesty aroma and the flavour is similar but slightly sweeter than I expected from the smell. Itís not particularly strong-tasting but itís quite refreshing anyway.
