0.5 L bottle (4.2% abv), gift from yngwie. Thanks man! Tall near-white top. Body is slightly hazed, pale golden brown. Smells nice. A fine mix of of floral grassy, light citrusfruity hops, and toasted, cakey, light peppery malts. Light-bodied. Fairly sweet and buiscuity, freshened up by some fine citrus-fruity and flowery hops. Just the right level of bitterness. Rounded mouthfeel. Easy drinking. Moreish.

500ml Bottle.Wen first opend the aroma was generally weak but when allowed to breathe a lovely orange nose. Appearance is of a darker than average golden beer with a thick white head that becomes increasingly lacey. Taste is of biscuity malts giving way to a citrusy then bitter finish. Not sure why i held off tasting this one for so long but it aint too shabby!

Cask - good, pale ale, though quite sweet. The bitterness grows slowly to a good level by the end. Decent.

Cask at the Rutland Arms Hammersmith. Slightly cloudy pale orange, small white head. Smell - slight tangerine, watered down ’Sunny Delight’. Body is pretty standard for the style, quite smooth. Taste - more tangerine, soft bitterness, a bit watery. A sessionable, balanced beer. Very drinkable but not memorable.

UPDATED: JAN 24, 2009 Cask conditioned at The Wellington, Birmingham 21/1/09. Deep, vivid gold in colour with a decent white head. Seriously subdued aroma of hay and apricots. Flavour bucked up a bit, with some sweet, digestive malts, citrus hops and a decent bitter finish, which proved to be very lingering with some accompanying floral and pine hops. Very backloaded.
